I'm up and I am dancing,

I've put on my bright shoes.

I'm up and I am dancing,

I'm shaking off the blues.


I'm trying on my green dress now,

I'm happy with my life.

Pink and pretty red lips,

Bless them on this night.


To kiss a handsom man, oh yes!

To tell a joke or two.

Perhaps they will be singing

or whispering "I love you".


I'm up and I am dancing,

I'm buzzing in my toes,

My bright shoes they are prancing

...

and thats all there is to it.
